ARSONISTS are being blamed for two blazes in the Bristol area yesterday.
In one incident, several pallets were deliberately set alight in a yard at Beeches Industrial Estate in Yate.
Firefighters contained the blaze before it could damage any buildings.
Another fire was started deliberately at Purdown, Lockleaze. The blazing grass was put out by firefighters using beaters and water jets.
Anyone with information about either arson attack should call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Fire fighters were also called to a fire in a bedroom of a house in Anstey Road, Easton, yesterday. The blaze is believed to have started accidentally.
