Toronto FC knocks off Montreal, Whitecaps advance in Canadian Championship
Toronto FC accomplished something on Wednesday night that they have failed to do in nearly two months: they won a game. Toronto was victorious for the first time in a match across any competition since the middle of March, topping the Montreal Impact, 2-0, at BMO Field in the second leg of their semifinals series in the Amway Canadian Championship. The first leg, played last Wednesday, ended in a scoreless draw.
